Hi, I’m Mairin.

I created this space during my final year of undergraduate studies. Challenging myself to champion my passion for sustainability outside my academic assignments, I started exploring my environmental interests. These interests have of course changed and evolved over the last few years, but what has and will remain unchanged is my vision for creating content that speaks to issues and topics I believe are important. I’ve come to understand that my creative outlet of choice really is just putting words on a page, and this is where I’ve chosen to showcase that.

Synergy is the idea that the sum of interacting parts or particles produce a greater collective effect when combined than the sum of each individual body. My idea for this space is to share my experiences throughout my post-secondary schooling and thereafter, begin to curate my personal portfolio in sustainability writing, and publicly promote issues and initiatives I am passionate about to encourage collective action or interest in sharing my insights.
